What are the causes of Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)?

Botulinum toxin (Botox), a nerve toxin that can temporarily block neurotransmitters and paralyze muscle. Botox is also a medication that is injected subdermally into the skin to treat hyperhidrosis. A suitable amount of Botox is injected in the palm or underarm to block nerves. Thus a decrease in sweating is noted after the injections.
